Hola familias!
First of all, we want to say a big thank you again to all the parents who supported us during our Kinder concert preparation and of course for all the volunteers who have come to support us in the classroom and during our field trips. We missed the volunteer tea today as we were at Telus Spark but we hope you all know how much you are appreciated and how happy we are to have you in our classroom. It's been a busy month! Just an FYI that Alien In-line begins this Friday for the AM group and continues into the following week for both groups. If you can, please send your child with her/his own equipment otherwise the equipment will be provided. Please note that there will be an email sent out shortly asking for volunteers on SIGN UP GENIUS to assist us with these classes. We will definitely need help with getting all the equipment on and off our little ones. Please remember to send your child to school with sunscreen on and bug spray if possible as we are snacking and recessing outside. Gracias, señorita Lopez

Srta. Lopez Dear patents,
Our kids and the teachers are very excited about our up coming concert! We have been practicing our show and learning lots about Mexico and its culture. The concert will take place on Tuesday May 8th from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Everyone is welcome to attend. We appreciate your help as volunteers for this event. Please sign up through Sign Up Genius. There is another exciting activity happening in May. We will have our field trip to TELUS Science center. Please fill out and return the forms for this activity as soon as possible. We also required volunteers. Please refer to Sign Up Genius. Have a great weekend srta. Lopez Dear parents,
It was really great to see all of you attending your child's conferences and the excitement that my students demonstrated while showing you their work! When we return to school in April we will focus on Mexico, one of our Spanish speaking countries. This will also be the theme for our Kindergarten concert that is going to happen in May. Have a good Spring break ! What we’re learning:

Please encourage your child to prepare and follow these sentence prompts: My unique family tradition is... I like this tradition because... It makes me feel...
